Uni-Scan B.V. maintains the general terms and conditions as set out by the Nederlandse Thuiswinkel Organisatie [Dutch Homeshopping Organisation], which were established in consultation with the Consumentenbond [Consumer Association] within the framework of the Coördinatiegroep Zelfreguleringsoverleg [Coordination Group on Self-regulation] of the Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands (SER) and took effect on 9 July 2015.
These general terms and conditions apply to any offer of Baby-Scan and to every finalised distance agreement between Baby-Scan and consumer.
Before the distance agreement is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions is being made available to the consumer. If this is not reasonably possible, Baby-Scan will indicate how the general terms and conditions can be examined at Baby-Scan and that if requested, they can be sent free of charge to the consumer as soon as possible and before the distance agreement is concluded.
Uni-Scan B.V. is registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 62876066 and pays its legal dues to the Dutch Tax & Customs Authority. Our contact details are available on our website.
Uni-Scan B.V. has an SLL certificate. This means we comply with all legal requirements related to the security and protection of your personal data and payment information. We strive for continuous improvements to the security of your data. Any misuse by hackers will be reported to the police.
We will never divulge your personal data to third parties. In the event we provide your personal data to third parties, we will always ask for your permission beforehand.
We are obliged to report any possible suspicion of misuse or fraud to the police.
Baby-Scan has professional liability insurance in order to be covered against any wrongful liability being claimed by a consumer.
We strive to always provide you with an excellent service. If you have any doubts about the purchase of a product, our team members would be pleased to assist you.
In case an offer is valid for a limited period or is made subject to conditions, this will be expressly specified in the offer.
The offer includes a complete and accurate description of the products, digital content and/or services offered. The description is sufficiently detailed in order to enable the consumer to make a fair assessment of the offer. If Baby-Scan makes use of illustrations, these will be a true representation of the products, services and/or digital content offered. Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer are not binding for Baby-Scan.
Each offer includes information appropriate to make it clearly known to the consumer what right and obligations are associated with the acceptance of the offer.
The agreement between Baby-Scan and the consumer is final when the consumer has indicated to accept the general terms and conditions and once the consumer has fulfilled his/her payment obligations to Baby-Scan via iDEAL, PayPal or credit card. After the end of the 14-day cooling-off period and once payment has been received by baby-Scan, the consumer is the owner of the relevant product.
The agreement is concluded electronically, by way of completing the required fields and agreeing with the general terms and conditions.
If the consumer accepted the offer via electronic means, Baby-Scan will promptly confirm receipt of the offer acceptance via electronic means. As long as the receipt of said acceptance has not been confirmed by Baby-Scan, the consumer may cancel the agreement.
If the agreement is concluded electronically, Baby-Scan will take appropriate technical and organisational measures for the security of electronic data transfer as well as ensuring a safe web environment.
The prices listed on Baby-Scan are always inclusive of VAT.
The price listed for the product on Baby-Scan cannot be amended during your purchase. You will pay the amount indicated for the product and which is also confirmed to you if you electronically agree with the purchase. The purchase price is reiterated here.
Baby-Scan will observe the utmost care when receiving and fulfilling orders of products and when assessing requests for the provision of services.
The risk during transport to the product ordered by you is borne by Baby-Scan. At the time of delivery of the product, the risk to the product is transferred to you, except for the liabilities that cannot legally be excluded by Baby-Scan.
Delivery costs are never included in the retail price unless indicated/offered.
We will deliver the product to you within three working days. If unforeseen circumstances dictate that the item is not available within this period, we will inform you in writing and refund you the full purchase amount.
Delivery of products outside of the Netherlands may take longer than delivery within the Netherlands. The costs applied for delivery to an address abroad will be visible to you when you purchase the product.
There is a 14-day cooling-off period after purchasing a certain product. This period starts the day after you receive the parcel from us. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase within this cooling-off period, you can return the product to us (without stating your reasons). You will only pay for return postage of the product in question.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please inform us within the cooling-off period by way of the withdrawal form on the Baby-Scan website. After receiving the withdrawal notification, Baby-Scan will send a confirmation of receipt. Upon withdrawal notification, Baby-Scan will send an e-mail containing an RMA number. The RMA number you receive from us will always only refer to the relevant product.
The return must have arrived at Baby-Scan within 14 days from the day of receipt. You have observed the returns policy if you return the product before the cooling-off period has passed.
Products you return (pursuant to the Distance Selling Act) must be returned in the original condition (and if reasonably possible including the original packaging). If you do not comply with the above, you reserve the right to refuse the return. In case of an accepted return, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days.
Complaints about delivery should initially be reported via telephone. Our team members will be pleased to imageCover you. We will contact the relevant delivery service about the delivery of the product.
Do not hesitate to share your complaints and feedback with us. We will process your complaints within one working day. Within this period, we will send you information on how your complaint will be processed.
Every product we send to you comes with a warranty. The duration of this warranty depends entirely on the product. Most products come with a two-year warranty. If you discover a defect or malfunction on one of our products, please notify us within 48 hours after delivery.
If the product is faulty within the warranty period, we will replace or repair the faulty device. However, this does not apply is there is intentional or deliberate damage. When submitting a warranty claim, you must include an invoice.
