What is a Baby-Scan Baby-Scanner?
The Baby-Scanner enables pregnant women to take fun scans at home, and to follow the development of the little treasure growing inside them. The images taken can be saved to the baby-Scan app and shared with family and friends.
When is the best time to use the Baby-Scanner?
Your baby will start moving around at about 8 weeks, so even in those early days you could catch a glimpse of your little one. However, the best results are obtained between 12 weeks and 37 weeks.
How long can I use my account?
After you buy the Baby-Scanner you can activate your account, which will be valid for 10 months from the date of registration. After this period, you will have another 2 months to retrieve all your images from the app. This ensures you can enjoy these special images forever.
How do I charge my Baby-Scanner?
The Baby-Scanner can be charged by using the supplied charger.
Which electronic devices are compatible with the Baby-Scanner?
The Baby-Scanner works with all devices that have IOS or Android software.
How do I connect the Baby-Scanner to my smartphone or tablet?
You need the Baby-Scan app and Wi-Fi to connect the Baby-Scanner to your smartphone or tablet. Register yourself and the Baby-Scanner in the app and link up over Wi-Fi.
Why do I need to use ultrasound gel when doing a scan?
The ultrasound gel facilitates better conduction of soundwaves between your baby and the Baby-Scanner. The Baby-Scan ultrasound gel has been specially developed for our Baby-Scanner. The combination of both provides the best results.
How much ultrasound gel do I need for scanning?
The ultrasound gel should be applied generously on the part of your abdomen where you will use the Baby-Scanner.
Is the ultrasound gel included when I buy the Baby-Scanner?
The ultrasound gel is supplied in the box when you purchase a Baby-Scanner. If you need another tube of gel, you can order it in our web shop at any time.
Are there any tips for achieving the best scan images?
- Up to 20 weeks of pregnancy, the best scan images are achieved if you have a full bladder.
- Sometimes your baby is not in the mood for pictures and may have his or her back turned to you. It may imageCover to take a little walk so that your baby turns around. If this doesn’t work, try again later.
- Always clean the head of the Baby-Scanner after every scan using a damp cloth. Leftover gel from previous scans may interfere with the conduction of the soundwaves.

The software, website and app are available in Dutch, German, English, French, Spanish, Turkish, Polish, Russian and Czech.

What does ultrasound mean?
Ultrasonography, or echography, is a technique that uses soundwaves that move through the body and reflect the interfaces between soft and firmer structures. This technique enables medical practitioners to create images of organs. Ultrasound has no adverse effects on your health or the health of your unborn baby.
What is ultrasound?
Ultrasound is a soundwave, these soundwaves are not audible to humans. Ultrasound is used for making an echography of the human body. Ultrasound penetrates into softer tissue and bounces off firm tissue such as bone tissue, which means that the soft areas in the body can be made visible and serve as an addition to the possibilities of an X-ray but without the radiation exposure.

What can the Baby-Scanner show me?
The Baby-Scanner makes ultrasound images of your baby. You can see your baby move, play with his or her fingers, you can see your baby’s heartbeat and if you’re lucky you might even catch a yawn.
Will I always see all of the baby?
The clarity of the images depends on how many weeks pregnant you are, your body shape and how your baby is positioned. The amount of amniotic fluid and the position of the placenta also affect the image.
How long and how often can I use the Baby-Scan Baby-Scanner?
There is no limit on scanning. Scientific studies and research show that 2D scans are not harmful. But use in moderation or consult your doctor.
Services and warranty
How can I find out if my product is still in warranty?
The Baby-Scanner and the wireless charger have a 2-year warranty. The warranty can be found in the written confirmation included with the product you purchased, and on the invoice we sent you via e-mail.
My product is faulty but is not in warranty anymore. What can I do?
Is there a problem with one of our products? We would be pleased to imageCover you find a solution. You may still be entitled to a free repair or replacement, even after the warranty period. However, you will have to demonstrate that the product became faulty due to no fault of your own. Please contact us by telephone or via e-mail.

What is the delivery time of the Baby-Scanner?
Once you have placed an order on Baby-Scan.nl, we will do our utmost to get your items to you as soon as possible. Usually, this is three working days after you placed your order. We do a payment check, package your order and send it out to you. After your delivery has left our warehouse, you can follow its progress through the track & trace option of the delivery service used. This information can be found in the shipping confirmation.
How do I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel an order, please send a cancellation request to aftersales@baby-scan.com. We will try our best to cancel your order for you, but this is not always possible. If an order is cancelled you will always receive a full refund.
